Role
Team member on our forecasting solution that allows finance and engineering teams to collaborate on a clear picture of cloud costs, savings, and potential projects. This person will be able to have a large contribution to the software and the user experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop web applications that are beautiful, usable, and delightful
- Continuously improve and maintain our application and user experience
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with product, back-end developers and designers to enhance usability
- Gather user feedback and build solutions to meet customer needs
- Write comprehensive functional requirement documents and guides
- Create high-quality software
- Ensure high graphic standards and brand consistency across all projects
- Stay updated on emerging front-end technologies and industry trends
Required Skills
- Proficient in React.js + TypeScript
- Experience building scalable UI with a component library such as MUI
- Experience with react-query
- Experience with Postgres or similar database
- Experience with table and charting libraries such as AG grid, d3, recharts or others
- Proven experience as a front-end developer
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- A good eye for design and the UI/UX process, as well as creating scalable components with great user experience
- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
- Comprehensive understanding of the web development process (design, development, deployment)
- Familiarity with Clerk.js authentication or other authentication solutions
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate and advocate ideas
- Self-starter with that looks forward to solving problems with comfort on a small, fast team
- SaaS experience

- A desire to take on technical leadership and ownership of projects from day one
- Understanding of layout aesthetics and design principles
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and multitasking abilities
- Experience working with analytics and large data sets
- Strong SQL experience, and columnar database knowledge
- BSc degree in Computer Science or a related field
